Working at height is one of the biggest contributors to fatalities in the work place. Primary causes of major injuries and fatalities from work at height are through falls from ladders and roofs. Undertaking a working at height course will not only help you to satisfy Health and Safety Regulations, but it could also go a significant way to ensuring the safety of your staff when they are at work.

Hoskins Consulting offer two comprehensive IOSH training courses, including IOSH Working Safely and IOSH Managing Safely.

IOSH courses offer an in-depth insight into a range of health and safety procedures. As well as written and practical assessments, candidates will also have the chance to get involved with a variety of interactive tasks to develop their skills. Once the course is complete, successful candidates will be awarded a certificate from IOSH.

The Working Safely course takes one day to complete and can be carried out on your premises and designed specifically for your employees. Our Managing Safely course takes place across four days and can be carried out at our training center or as an in-house course undertaken at your premises

On the October 1st 2006, The Regulatory Reform Fire Safety Order (FSO) came into force. As an employer, or as someone who has control of a workplace you must take steps to ensure that you have a ‘suitable and sufficient fire risk assessment’ in place.

It is mandatory that all members of staff who perform any kind of manual/people handling tasks are trained in the correct procedures before they attempt a task. Contact us now to book a course and ensure you are complying with current legislation.
